Orders received by 4 p.m. Friday can be shipped as early as Friday of the following week.
Exceptions: Plank which exceed 48" in width often require several extra days.
Perfect Plank Co. does not maintain accounts. Most customers send a check at the time of
order or use a major credit card.
Orders are shipped freight collect from Oroville, California. Orders weighing more than 70
pounds are shipped via XPO Logistics. Orders weighing less than 70 pounds (within size
limits) can be shipped UPS. (Other limitations apply)
Upon receipt of order, it is essential that you inspect the freight for damage prior to signing
the delivery receipt! (DOES NOT APPLY TO UPS SHIPMENTS) Unsatisfactory merchandise
can be returned after receiving verbal approval from the Order Desk. Replacement will be
made for defects which are the result of manufacturing error. However, the Perfect Plank
Co. cannot accept responsibility for those defects which are inherent in the species of
wood. In all cases, the liability of the Perfect Plank Co. shall be limited to the sale price of
the item and shall not be extended to include the value of any labor or materials used in
finishing or installing the product.
Upon receipt, it is essential that you finish the ends and BOTH sides of the plank immediately in
order to avoid cupping or warping. All wood products are sensitive to changes in
temperature and humidity, and care must be taken to prevent exposure to environmental
extremes.

*Whenever possible, we send full thickness up to 1 7/8". If you need top to be specifically 1 3/4",

Black Walnut Wildwood is a product specially designed to include the maximum variety of colors,
textures, and grain patterns. Its most distinctive feature is the inclusion of both heart and sapwood.
Manufactured from Black Walnut native to the Appalachians and Midwest, it is made by finger-jointing
6" to 24" pieces of wood into strips of the desired length. The strips (anywhere from 3/4" to 2" wide)
are then glued face-to-face with water resistant polyvinyl glue to form an edge-grain Butcher Block
product. Black Walnut Wildwood Perfect Plank is made with the standard configuration in which the
"finger-joint" is visible on the face of the plank.
As a general rule, all of our Wildwood material can have a broad variety of attributes, such as:

knots and flat (swirly) grain
•
multiple lamination (strip) widths throughout product
•
drastic contrast of light and dark color
•
sandwich style configuration
Wildwood material is a bi-product of our Standard Butcher Block line. For this reason, availability
can be unpredictable. If you are interested in using Wildwood for your next project, please call

While both sides may contain defects, the face is of furniture quality, patched and sanded with
120 grit paper. Any natural or manufactured defects are patched and sanded clean to yield a 1-side-good
product. Reverse side is not patched, may contain small natural/manufacturer defects, and is sanded
with 80 grit paper. Black Walnut Wildwood butcher block is available in a wide variety of standard
sizes in thicknesses of 1 3/8" and 1 3/4"*.
